Web terminal
Browser root shell: the web terminal on the AI agent box, the console on every server.
On this page
Servers built from the AI agent box image include a browser web terminal over HTTPS. It is a root shell on the guest — the same machine you reach with SSH — in a browser tab. Use it when you cannot open port-forwarded SSH, or to recover a guest whose SSH daemon you just broke.
Every server, whatever its image, has a browser console: the server's serial console, inside the dashboard. It keeps working when the network inside the server does not.
Open it
Open the server under Servers. On the AI agent box, Open terminal at the top of the page opens the web terminal in a new tab, on the HTTPS hostname issued for that guest. On other images the same button reads Open console and opens the browser console. Both are also under Terminal in the server menu. Log in as root with the current root password (the one after passwd, if you already changed it).
If the tab fails
SSH and the browser console still work while we look at the terminal route. Copy the exact URL, the server hostname, and any error text into a ticket. Do not send the root password in the ticket unless we ask; we can reach the hypervisor without it.
